About Crop Image
Open a photo, drag the corners of the crop box over the part you want to keep, and download it. Lock the box to a ratio such as square or 16:9, or type an exact width and height in pixels.
Cropping is the most common edit people make to a photo: trimming a distracting edge, straightening the framing around a face, or cutting a picture to the shape a website demands. The crop box here can be dragged anywhere and resized from its corners. With a ratio locked, the box keeps that shape as you resize it, so a square stays square.
Many upload forms ask for an exact size, such as 400 × 400 pixels for a profile picture or 1200 × 630 for a link preview. Enter the width and height and the crop box snaps to that shape; the downloaded file is resized to exactly those pixels. If you only need the shape, leave the size empty and the crop keeps the photo's full detail.
The photo never leaves your device — it's decoded and cropped in the browser. iPhone HEIC photos work too, and you can rotate the image in 90° steps before cropping. Choose JPG for photos, PNG to keep transparency, or WebP for smaller files.

Frequently asked questions
How do I crop an image to an exact size like 600 × 600?
Type 600 and 600 in the width and height boxes. The crop box takes that shape; position it and download — the file is resized to exactly 600 × 600 pixels.
Does cropping reduce quality?
Cropping itself only removes the edges. Quality is lost only if you ask for a larger pixel size than the cropped area, or save as JPG repeatedly. Choose PNG for no compression at all.
Can I crop an iPhone HEIC photo?
Yes. HEIC photos are converted in your browser, and you can save the result as JPG, PNG or WebP.
Will a PNG keep its transparent background?
Yes, if you save as PNG or WebP. JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The photo is opened and cropped entirely in your browser; nothing is uploaded or stored.
