Converters
One fast tool for the unit conversion you need mid-task — turning kilometers into miles, kilograms into pounds, or Celsius into Fahrenheit — instead of typing "X to Y" into a search engine and hunting through ad-heavy results.

OpenUnit Converter
Convert between metric and imperial length, weight, volume, and temperature units.
OpenUnit Converter handles the everyday categories: length (metric and imperial, from millimeters to miles), weight (grams to pounds and everything between), volume (liters, gallons, cups, milliliters), and temperature (Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin). Type a number, pick your units, get the answer immediately — no ad-cluttered results page to scroll past first.
It's built to be the tool you actually keep open in a tab while cooking from a recipe in the "wrong" unit system, converting a spec sheet's measurements, or checking a temperature conversion for travel.
This category will expand with more specific converters over time — currency, data storage, and others — following the site's rule of shipping a tool only once real demand and full search-friendly content back it.
What you can use it for
- Convert a recipe's measurements between metric and imperial
- Check a temperature conversion (Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin) quickly
- Convert weight between kilograms, pounds, ounces, and stone
- Convert length or distance between metric and imperial units for travel, shopping, or specs
Frequently asked questions
How accurate are the conversions?
The converter uses standard, internationally defined conversion factors (e.g. 1 inch = 2.54 cm exactly), so results are as precise as the number of decimal places you need.
Does it support currency conversion?
Not yet — currency conversion needs live, constantly-updating exchange rate data from an external source, which is a different kind of tool than the fixed-ratio unit conversions here. It may be added later.
Can I convert between more than two units at once?
The tool converts between one "from" and one "to" unit at a time, chosen from a dropdown, which keeps the interface fast and simple rather than showing every possible unit at once.
Is this free to use with no limits?
Yes — no sign-up, no daily cap, no premium tier. It runs as a plain calculation in your browser.
